Agamya Anand
Agamya is the 2026–2027 Oregon HOSA State President! She is a student at the Beaverton Academy of Science and Engineering (BASE) and will enter her junior year in the upcoming school year. A passionate member of HOSA–Future Health Professionals, she has been involved with HOSA for over three years. Through her journey, she has grown as a leader, advocate, and competitor. Her experiences in HOSA have sparked a deep interest in healthcare, and leadership, and she hopes to pursue a future career in healthcare policy! As State President, her goals include expanding communication between chapters, increasing access to opportunities for members, and creating more hands-on experiences that bring healthcare to life. She is dedicated to building an Oregon HOSA community where every member feels supported and empowered! Outside of HOSA, she’s a huge Formula 1 fan (go McLaren!), enjoys watching classic TV shows and movies, and loves to go watch the sunset. She is always seeking new ways to grow, lead, and make a difference.

Sameeksha Boggarapu
Sameeksha Boggarapu is a rising junior at the Beaverton Academy of Science and Engineering, and serves as Oregon HOSA’s President-Elect! Over the last 4 years with HOSA, Sameeksha has loved working with her chapter, competing, and connecting with new people throughout the state. Her experiences have helped her grow not only as a leader but also as a student and presenter. Recently serving as one of her chapter’s Middle School HOSA VP, Sameeksha has learned the importance of communication and member engagement, and she plans to bring these skills to Oregon HOSA by expanding its chapter communication and collaboration. Outside of HOSA, Sameeksha is a dedicated volunteer and a youth advocate for the American Cancer Society, working to bring awareness around cancer research funding and screening. Her experiences through HOSA have not only reinforced her passion for surgery through competition but have also pushed her to develop an interest in global health and health advocacy, all of which she hopes to connect in her future career. Beyond HOSA, Sameeksha loves exploring new restaurants, performing carnatic music, hiking with family and friends, and discovering new TV shows (she’s always open to recommendations!). Grace Kim
Grace Kim is a junior at Sunset High School and an active member of HOSA. Growing up moving frequently, she faced the challenges of adapting to new environments as an immigrant with limited English, often feeling out of place. Through HOSA, Grace found a supportive community that helped her build confidence and grow as a leader. Her competitive events strengthened her public speaking skills and pushed her beyond her comfort zone. She believes leadership is about creating opportunities for others to succeed. Outside of HOSA, she has co-led fundraising efforts supporting children in Nigeria and taught English to girls in Afghanistan. As Vice President of Leadership, Grace aims to expand access to HOSA across Oregon by connecting chapters, sharing resources, and fostering collaboration so every member can grow.

Branden Nguyen
Branden Nguyen is a rising Senior at the Sabin-Schellenberg Professional Technical Center and serves as the 2026-2027 Vice President of Communication for Oregon HOSA. Now entering his third year in HOSA, he’s found incredible opportunities regarding the Health Sciences industry and what it has in store to provide for its members. Previously serving as his local chapter’s Fundraising Chair raising $2000 in profit at his city hall, he seeks the dedication and determination to make HOSA the voice for all Health Science students. Outside of HOSA, you might find him serving his local Key Club chapter as the editor, or volunteer for his National Honor Society. HOSA helped him develop his interest for being an Orthodontist within the Dental Industry, previously competing in Dental Sciences and Dental Terminology to gain a better insight. Besides listening to Laufey, Branden’s hobbies range from playing instruments such as piano to calling with his friends late at night playing games during the weekend. Yunah Kim
Yunah Kim is a rising senior at Mountainside High School and serves as the 2026-2027 Vice-President of Membership, entering her third year as an active member of HOSA! She led the establishment of a HOSA chapter at her school, working to expand opportunities for students interested in healthcare and build a strong, inclusive community. Through this experience, she has been able to grow as a leader and advocate for those around her. HOSA has helped her discover an amazing network of peers and realize her passion for healthcare and interest in becoming a surgeon. As Vice President of Membership, Yunah is dedicated to ensuring that every member and chapter feels supported and valued, and that no one is left out in the opportunities HOSA has to offer. She aims to expand membership throughout Oregon for students of all grade levels and provide resources to both new and existing chapters. She believes that by fostering connection and accessibility, HOSA can continue to grow and make a lasting impact. Outside of HOSA, Yunah enjoys playing music, going outside, and trying new things.
