Act Six Scholarships
Deadline: October 28, 2014 

For promising student leaders from across Portland to receive full scholarships for community leadership to George Fox University and Warner Pacific College.  With scholarships worth up to $180,000 over four years, a powerful leadership development training program, and an unparalleled level of support and opportunity, Act Six simply can’t be beat. If you know a high school senior or recent graduate with strong leadership potential who wants to use their education to make a difference on campus and in their community, nominate them using this short form or point them to and encourage them to start their online application right away.


GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program
Deadline: January 8, 2015  

Exceptional student leaders are invited to apply for the 2015 GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program. In honor of the legacy of President Ronald Reagan, this program annually rewards up to 20 college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship with $10,000 renewable scholarships up to $40,000 per recipient.

Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber Scholarships
Deadline: January 31, 2015

To provide support and encourage Hispanics to continue their higher education, The Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber provides annual scholarship awards to qualifying applicants. Students must be of Hispanic ancestry, permanently residing in Oregon, have at least a 3.0 GPA, and be enrolled by September 2015 in an accredited community college, 4-year college or university, or an accredited graduate program.

CareerSafe Online Safety Essay Contest

CareerSafe is excited to announce a new scholarship opportunity for students that have completed one of our OSHA 10-Hour training courses. Students are encouraged to write an essay describing how their OSHA 10-Hour card has made an impact in the way they recognize hazards and how it will be a benefit to their future. We will select up to two (2) winners each quarter to receive a $500 scholarship!
