CTE Month

by Oregon HOSA

February is Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month, and this year’s theme is “Celebrate CTE Superheros”. Oregon HOSA celebrates our CTE superheroes in several ways. So far, we have thanked our state representatives and senators for supporting House Bill 2912 and Senate Bill 498, which gave Oregon CTSOs the funding we need to continue functioning. We are also thanking HOSA members, advisors, and anyone who supported HB2912 and SB498.

February 27th is Social Media Advocacy day for CTE month and we urge you to advocate for CTE month and your CTE Superhero on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Instagram. Check out Oregon HOSA’s social media pages on February 27th to find out who our CTE Superheroes are. For more information on what CTE month means and how to participate in it, visit www.acteonline.org/ctemonth.
